The Denver American Indian Festival is celebrating its eighth year!  The Denver American Indian Festival is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) organization founded and created by two Adams County, Colorado residents. Our organization strives to celebrate, preserve and protect the traditional cultural traditions and performing arts of the American Indian people. We accomplish this by hosting educational and cultural events throughout the year including the annual Denver American Indian Festival. 

 

Each year this free and family-friendly event is held the last week in September. Since 2014, it has welcomed over 20,000 people and over 81 tribal representatives. Attendance has grown so much that this year the festival will be held at the Riverdale Regional Park Fairgrounds in Adams County. “We are so excited that we are able to expand and bring the festival to a larger facility in Adams County,” said Founder Lynne Holman. She continues, “We hope this is just a first step to expanding American Indian cultural and performing arts programming in Adams County.” The Denver American Indian Festival board, volunteers, and sponsors look forward to welcoming the community to their eighth annual festival this September.
